All Educational Therapists, including Parent and Associate Educational Therapists, need to be registered and licensed yearly in order to use NILD® materials, including manuals.

 

UNDERSTANDING YOUR REGISTRATION OPTIONS

 

 1.    Registered Educational Therapist: is a practicing Educational Therapist either in a school or private practice with one or more students, whether receiving remuneration from an employer or client, not receiving remuneration, or receiving remuneration in the form of exchange of services.

NILD Canada™ Registered Educational Therapists are entitled to:

  • Discounts for conferences and courses.
  • Discovery Digest newsletter subscription.
  • Legal use of NILD Canada™ name and logo on stationary.
  • Listing on NILD Canada™’s  website. 
  • Receive manual technique updates.
  • Access to the Registered Educational Therapists section of the NILD Canada website.

Registration Cost $ 135.00 ($ 25.00 late fee after January 31st)

 

 2.    Registered Parent Educational Therapist:  is an Educational Therapist working exclusively with his or her own children. All practicing Parent Educational Therapists will need to sign a licensing agreement regarding the use of NILD® materials. If a Parent Educational Therapist is providing therapy to anyone other than his or her own children they must register as a Registered Educational Therapist.
 
NILD Canada™ Registered Parent Educational Therapists are entitled to:
  • Discounts for conferences and courses.
  • Discovery Digest newsletter subscription.
  • Access to the Registered Educational Therapists only section of the NILD Canada website.
  • Receive manual technique updates.

 Registration Cost $ 75.00 ($ 25.00 late fee after January 31st)

  3.    Associates:  are non-practicing Educational Therapists, schools, Search and Teach providers, undergraduate college students, professionals and other interested individuals and organizations. NILD Canada™ Associates are entitled to:

  • Discounts for conferences.
  • Receive manual technique updates for educational therapists only.

Registration Cost $ 50.00 ($ 25.00 late fee after January 31st)
